Cactus Appliance Repair (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website cactusappliance.com and provides in-home appliance repair services in Irvine and Orange County, California. This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us or use this website, how we use it, and what choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request service by phone, text, WhatsApp, our contact form, or our online booking page, we ask for the information we need to do the job:
- your name;
- your phone number and email address;
- the service address where the appliance is located;
- the appliance brand, model, and a description of the problem;
- appointment times and any notes you give the technician.
We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, driver’s license number, or bank account details. We do not process card payments through this website.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records standard technical data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page that referred you, and the date and time of the visit.
How we use your information
- to schedule, perform, and follow up on your repair;
- to contact you about your appointment, quote, parts, or warranty;
- to keep a service history for your appliance, which helps if the same unit needs attention again;
- to understand which pages of the site people find useful, so we can improve them;
- to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to measure traffic, and Microsoft Bing tags for the same purpose. These services set cookies and collect usage data such as pages viewed and approximate location derived from IP address. They tell us how many people visit and which pages they read; they do not tell us who you are by name.

- Taskrol — the scheduling and job-management software we use to book appointments and track repairs;
- our web host and email provider — to keep this website and our email running;
- Google and Microsoft — for the website analytics described above;
- parts suppliers — when ordering a part for your repair, limited to what the order requires.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to:
- know what personal information we have collected about you, where we got it, why we collected it, and who we shared it with;
- delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to exceptions such as records we must keep for warranty, tax, or legal reasons;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of;
- be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights. We will not refuse you service or charge you a different price for making a request.

How long we keep information
We keep service records for as long as needed to honor warranties on our work and parts, and to meet tax and legal requirements — generally four years. Website analytics data is retained according to the settings of the analytics providers listed above. After that, records are deleted or anonymized.
Security
This website is served over HTTPS, and access to our scheduling system is restricted to the people who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date at the top.
