How brand affects the repair
The brand decides three things on a service call: how the appliance reports a fault, which parts fail first, and how fast the parts arrive. Samsung and LG refrigerators report through self-diagnosis codes and fail most often at the defrost system, the evaporator fan and, on LG, the linear compressor. The Whirlpool family (Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Amana and the Whirlpool-built Kenmores with 110, 106 and 665 prefixes) shares control platforms, so one set of codes and one set of parts covers a lot of machines. Bosch and Thermador dishwashers share the E-codes and the same drain pumps and heat pumps. Sub-Zero, Viking and Thermador parts are usually not on the van; they come from distributors, and we tell you the lead time before you decide. Whatever the brand, the process is the same: the $79 visit covers the diagnosis, you approve a written price for parts and labor, the repair carries a warranty, and a return visit for the same fault within 90 days has no service-call fee.

Do you repair every brand?

Does the brand change the price of the service call?
No. The service call is $79 for every brand and is applied to the repair. Parts prices differ by brand, and you see them in the written price before any work starts.
Do you have parts for my brand on the van?
Common parts for Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, GE, Bosch and Frigidaire are on the van. Sub-Zero, Viking, Thermador and less common parts come from local distributors, usually the next business day; if a part has a longer lead time we tell you before you decide.
Is the repair under warranty?
Yes, on parts and labor. If the same problem comes back within 90 days, the return visit has no service-call fee.
How do I know who built my Kenmore?
By the first three digits of the model number: 110 and 106 are Whirlpool, 665 is a Whirlpool dishwasher, 795 is LG, 253 and 417 are Frigidaire. Read it to us when you call so we know which platform your Kenmore is built on.
